KISLEV, the ninth month of the Hebrew calender
The Lord spoke a very clear word to me saying that this is a time of awakening and a time of birthing in this ninth Hebrew month of KISLEV, which begins on Thursday 15 November. We often look ahead to a fresh move of God as we seek for revival, but I want to tell you clearly, we are in a time of awakening!
The events of the past months have ushered in this awakening. In the UK in June there was the commissioning and sounding of the Bells at the Jubilee Pageant, followed by the lighting of the beacons all across the nation. Both of these events were prophesied beforehand. Let me remind you that Beni Johnson said at the beginning of this year that the bells would ring in the UK; Jean Darnell had spoken back in 1967 of fires that would light up the UK ushering in a revival. Both of these events took place on June 3rd and 4th, this year. We need eyes to see and a discerning heart to understand.
In this time to birth, we may have said that we don’t have any strength left, or that we have waited for too long. Now is the time to be empowered to bring forth the prophetic promise. This will be a month to break out of the conventional ways and the familiar paths. There is a fresh word and a new song that will change this season from barrenness to blessing, from desolation to delight.
Isaiah 54 v 1 “Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labour; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband,” says the LORD. 2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. 3 For you will spread out to the right and to the left”
The colour for this month is blue which represents revelation. Watch for the colour to begin to show up in unfamiliar places; when it does ask for fresh revelation to press forward and break through.
There will be a coming forth. Many have gone through traumas and difficulties but these have been but the birth pangs to align us with what is to come forth. Now it is time to push through, we are at the threshold of the new. This will coincide with the enemy’s strategies being revealed but we will overcome in this month what we have been contending for over the last nine months.
THE TRIBE OF BENJAMIN
This month is represented by the tribe of Benjamin, the only son born in the land of promise. This is the season of promise in which to birth what we have been carrying; what we have considered as painful will be turned into joy as we realise there is now the strength for empowered breakthrough. First named Ben-oni, son of my pain, Jacob renamed this son Benjamin, son of my right hand and son of my strength. Our circumstance will be renamed in accordance with heaven’s perspective. There will be relationships that will develop that strengthen us and bring increased blessing. In this place of empowerment we will enter a new rest resulting in a renewed trust in His promises.
What we birth in this season of Kislev, we will also have authority to govern; government will rest upon our shoulders with new authority. Places that were closed will open and we will have a voice to speak. We will receive enlargement of influence and promotion from the Lord.
Isaiah 11:1-5 will be the passage to pray over and receive fresh anointing from for this time of birthing, increase and influence.
May we all find strength to bring forth in this empowering season.
